Connect Your Stripe Account


Connect your organization's Stripe account to allow your members to pay by credit or debit card while making a payment through AMO. Payments through Stripe can be used for purchases including events, membership, the online store, donation, or a generic invoice. Members will never be taken over to the Stripe site but will stay on the same page as their registration, creating a seamless checkout process. 


Before You Begin

Create an account with Stripe, if you haven't already. Sign up on their platform, linked here.

To connect your Stripe account, you will need your Live Secret Key and Live Publishable Key. To learn where these details are located, and about managing your Stripe account, visit Stripe's Help.


Link Your Account

Once you have your Live Secret Key and Live Publishable Key, navigate within AMO to Financial Information > Credit Card Settings.

  1. Select Stripe from the dropdown menu.
  2. Match up the presented fields as follows:
    • AMO Field: Account Login = Stripe Field: Live Publishable Key
    • AMO Field: Account Password = Stripe Field: Live Secret Key
  3. Click "Update Credit Card Settings" to save changes.
