Add Sliders

Administrators have the functionality to create a series of animated, rotating images, called sliders, that can be used on different website pages. 

Create a New Slider

To add a slider, navigate to Website Management > Sliders.

1. Click the green plus icon to create a new slider.
2. Use the Select Slider Type drop down menu to select "Carousel Reponsive" to automatically rescale the images to fit the user's screen.
3. Enter a Name for the slider, for internal use only.
4. Check Display Carousel as Top Banner of Websiteto feature the slider at the top of the website's homepaage.
   • Note: only one slider at a time can be assigned the top banner location.
5. Set the Slide Intervalto control how long an image is viewed before rotation. 
   • The unit of time is milliseconds.
   • Example: To set the slide interval to 5 seconds, enter 4000 milliseconds.

Add Images to a Slider

To add an image to an existing slider, navigate to Website Management > Sliders.

1. Click the pencil icon next to the slider to be edited.
2. Click "Add Slider Image."
3. Upload an image from the device by clicking "Browse."
4. Set the Display Order for the image.
5. Add an image Label, as needed.

Add a Slider to a Webpage

To add an existing slider with uploaded images to a webpage, navigate to Website Management > Sliders.

1. Note the Slider ID next to the slider to be embedded.
2. Navigate to Website Management > Webpages.
3. Select the webpage to be edited.
4. Click the Functional Inserts Library.
5. Select "Insert Slider.
6. Replace "id" with the Slider ID.
