Add Activity Types


Before creating an event in AMO, Activity Types must be set up. Activity Types are the kinds of segments within an event. 



To add activity types, go to Event Management > Activity Types.

  1. Select the green "Add Record" button; a new window will appear.

  2. Enter a name for the segment in the Activity Type field.

  3. Enter a Description.

  4. To deliver notifications to those registered, check Send Automatic Email to Registrants of This Activity Type, and enter a custom message in the Automatic Email Content field.

  5. Select Add Activity Type to save changes.

A green confirmation message will appear at the top of the screen when the change has been successfully saved. Repeat this process for each activity type.
